Marriage

By choosing to be married in church a couple acknowledges that their marriage isn't simply a legal agreement but rather a creative, mystical union between a man and a woman that touches upon the divine. Christian marriage is an intimate union of love between a man and a woman established by God in creation.

Couples have been making solemn vows of love at St Nicholas’ Church  since 1089. Our Priest, Fr Paul, is always delighted to hear from couples who wish to marry in our church. The best way to make contact with Fr Paul is by coming to a Sunday Service and introducing yourselves in person.

However, if you wish to be in touch via email, or phone you will find all the contact details here.
